The Q5’s beautifully composed body reflects the impressive driving experience, with Quattro all-wheel drive as standard and a range of mild-hybrid TDI and TFSI engines with the S tronic transmission. The 45 TFSI is our pick, with 265PS and a 0-62mph time of 6.1 seconds. A plug-in hybrid version is also offered with the TFSI e engine, kicking out 299PS with a 37-mile electric range. Design

Drive
With fuel economy up to 42.8 mpg combined, the TDI engines offer low running costs, or you can enjoy the smoothness of a TFSI engine with up to 265PS. The most refined model is the TFSI e, which has a 37-mile electric range.
Practicality
The Q5’s boot offers up 550-610-litres of boot space, depending on how far you slide the rear seat bench forwards. All models have a powered tailgate. The TFSI e has a smaller boot (95L less) to accommodate the 14.4kWh battery.
