Meet the Team - Neil - Clever Repair Supervisor at Poole Audi

From alloy wheel refurbishment to paint correction, the team specialises in restoring vehicles to their best condition. Leading the department is Neil, our Clever Repair Supervisor, who brings nearly three decades of industry experience to the role.
Extensive Experience in Vehicle Refinishing
Neil has built a long-standing career in the refinishing and refurbishment sector of the motor industry, developing deep knowledge in cosmetic vehicle repairs. His background spans a wide range of techniques and technologies, making him a valuable asset to the team at Poole Audi.

A Hands-On Role in the Clever Repair Department
As Clever Repair Supervisor, Neil’s role is very much hands-on, and no two days are ever the same in the Clever Repair department at Poole Audi. He oversees a wide range of cosmetic car repairs, helping restore vehicles to their original condition. His work includes removing and refitting tyres and preparing alloy wheels before carrying out alloy wheel refurbishment, including aqua blasting wheels ready for repair. Neil also operates specialist CNC diamond-cut alloy wheel machines to achieve the crisp factory finish Audi owners expect. Alongside alloy repairs, he carries out SMART repairs, which involve repairing, preparing and repainting body panels and plastic trims to remove scratches, scuffs and minor damage. The role also includes windscreen chip repairs, paint correction, flatting and polishing, as well as completing damage appraisals and repair estimates. A key part of Neil’s job is advising customers on the most effective and cost-efficient cosmetic repair solutions, ensuring everything from minor paintwork damage to alloy wheel scuffs can be repaired in-house at Poole Audi.
