At Poole Audi, our Parts Department is the backbone of everything we do, and at the heart of this operation is Paul, our Parts Manager.
A Day in the Life of the Parts Department
For Paul and his team, no two days are ever the same. “Every single car that comes through, whether it’s a brand-new Audi needing roof bars or an older model requiring a new gearbox, passes through the parts department.”
The team is responsible for ensuring every car has the correct parts on time, keeping operations running smoothly and customers happy. From managing stock on the shelves to sourcing hard-to-find components, the parts team ensures the business functions like a well-oiled machine.
Supporting the Service Team and Customers
A key part of the role is supporting both the service team and our customers. Paul explains, “We make sure all the parts are either here on the shelf ready for the customer’s arrival or ordered by the fastest means possible. This allows our service team to complete maintenance or repairs efficiently and gets our customers back on the road quickly.”
Whether it’s a simple brake pad replacement or a major engine repair, the parts team is always working behind the scenes to make sure every job runs without delay.
What Paul Values Most
For Paul, the highlight of his role is the people he works with every day. “I really enjoy working closely with the team, helping them grow, and tackling the day-to-day challenges that arise. Seeing them succeed is incredibly rewarding.”

When asked about his favourite Audi, Paul doesn’t hesitate: “It has to be the B7 Audi RS 4. A high-revving V8 that delivers everything you could want from a car, it’s a true RS and an absolute thrill to drive.”
