Front of House Service Manager Mark Wins Prestigious Audi Vorsprung Award
Poole Audi is proud to announce that Mark, our Front of House Service Manager, has been honoured with the Audi Vorsprung Award, recognising outstanding commitment to customer experience and going above and beyond in service excellence.
The Vorsprung Award celebrates Audi team members who demonstrate exceptional dedication, whether through customer care, innovative solutions, or contributions to the business. Mark’s nomination stood out thanks to a truly remarkable customer service story that reaffirmed his reputation for delivering top-tier service.
Mark’s Journey in the Automotive Industry
Mark brings a wealth of experience to Poole Audi, having been in the motor trade since the age of 13. After starting in a local independent garage, he completed an apprenticeship at Jaguar, progressing to Master Technician and gaining full Electric Vehicle training. He spent over 20 years at Jaguar Land Rover, taking on roles such as Workshop Foreman and Workshop Controller before moving into management positions with Audi, including Assistant Aftersales Manager at another Audi franchise.
Mark joined Poole Audi as Front of House Service Manager in March 2025 and has since been instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction, streamlining service processes, and mentoring his team.
Delivering Exceptional Customer Experience
For Mark, the core of his role is understanding the customer beyond the car. He believes that a successful service experience comes from managing expectations, understanding personal circumstances, and providing tailored support. Mark explains, “Fixing the car is the easy part. Understanding the customer’s life, their needs, and supporting them through challenges, that’s what really matters. It’s about building trust and relationships.”
Building a Strong Service Team
Under Mark’s leadership, Poole Audi has strengthened its service department with new team members and promotions. His focus is on coaching, skill development, and improving commercial knowledge, ensuring every customer receives efficient, high-quality service even on the busiest days.
Favourite Audi and Personal Interests
When asked about his favourite Audi, Mark is unequivocal: the Audi RS 6 Avant. “It’s fast, practical, and perfect for family life. You can go from a high-performance drive to a comfortable GT cruiser, and it fits everything you need.” Outside the showroom, Mark enjoys family life with his three children, is passionate about animal rescue, and has a soft spot for cats, once caring for a total of 14 cats at one point.
