Meet the Team - Tim - Sales Executive
With over 15 years of experience in the motor trade, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism to his role as a Sales Executive at Poole Audi. Having joined the team in June 2023, he’s quickly become a valued member of the showroom, recognised for his approachable manner and dedication to creating a seamless, enjoyable customer experience.
Before joining Audi, Tim spent over a decade in automotive industry “I was with the same company for nearly 13 years,” Tim explains. “It gave me a huge amount of experience working with a wide variety of customers and vehicles.”
For Tim, the best part of his role is the variety. “One minute you could be talking to a lovely couple about an Audi A1, and the next you’re helping someone into an Audi RS Q8. No two days are the same and that’s what I enjoy most.”
When asked about his favourite Audi models, Tim admits he can’t pick just one. “The Audi SQ7 is choice, as it’s perfect for family life, and feels really special to drive. But I’ve always loved the Audi S6 too, it’s got the practicality, but with that extra bit of excitement. I’ve also recently got an Audi S3, which has been great fun.”
Tim’s extensive background means he’s confident helping every kind of customer “It’s about understanding people and making sure they feel valued from start to finish.”
He believes that what sets Poole Audi apart is the Poole Audi experience. “We really do things differently here. Our handover bays are a big part of that, we cover the car, place a bow on it, and present a bottle of Midas Prosecco or wine. A lot of customers don’t expect it, and when they see the reveal moment, it really makes the experience special.”
Outside of work, Tim’s biggest passion is photography. “I’ve always loved cars and photography, so I combine the two whenever I can. I used to do wedding photography and still enjoy getting creative with automotive shots; Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of my favourite places for that.”
When it comes to helping customers find their perfect Audi, Tim believes it all starts with understanding their needs and lifestyle. By tailoring the right solution, he often finds that owning a premium car is more attainable than many might expect.
Tim is proud to work at one of the largest Audi sites in the country, complete with a salon, gym, and luxury customer facilities. “It’s not your typical showroom,” he says. “It’s more like a hotel experience, and that’s what makes it so special.”
