Meet the Team - Vicky - Senior Centre Host
Vicky first joined Poole Audi in October 2016, starting as a part-time host before progressing to her current role as Senior Centre Host. Over the years, she has grown with the business, taken on new responsibilities, and now leads the hosting team, ensuring every customer receives the warmest of welcomes. Vicky’s role is wonderfully varied, no two days are ever the same. Alongside hosting duties, she manages her team, supports with administration, and even helps resolve customer queries when needed. For her, the key skills in this role are personality, organisation, and great communication. What makes Poole Audi stand out for her is the atmosphere and variety. “I’m not sat at a desk all day, I move around, meet lovely customers, and work with fantastic colleagues. That’s what makes it so special here.”
One of Vicky’s proudest moments at Poole Audi was completing her training and graduation programme, something she took on with real drive and determination. Keen to go above and beyond in her role, she completed every online training module available, attended multiple courses, and even secured a place at sessions held at Volkswagen Group’s Training Centre in Milton Keynes. Her commitment to broadening her knowledge and skill set was rewarded when she was invited to a special graduation ceremony in Liverpool. “It was such an honour to represent both Audi and Poole Audi at that level,” Vicky says, reflecting on the experience as a true highlight of her career.
When it comes to dream cars, Vicky has her sights set on the Audi RS Q8. “I love the power! I do like a car with a roar!” she laughs. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Vicky on the golf course. “If it’s sunny, I’ll be out playing golf,” she admits, a hobby that perfectly balances the busy pace of life at the showroom.
