Dynamic new look for the Audi A3 Sportback and Saloon

An Audi best-selling model, the A3, established the premium compact class in 1996 and soon, Poole Audi will be welcoming the dynamic new look for the fourth generation.

The A3 Sportback and A3 Saloon have been upgraded for the 2025 model year with a sportier, more progressive exterior and interior design, selectable daytime running light signatures, new technology and even more standard equipment.

Design highlights
More dynamic, more progressive, and more emotional.
On the front a new interpretation of the Audi hexagonal single frame grille makes an immediate impression, especially on the S line and Black Edition trim which features a new design structure that is noticeably flatter and wider. It dominates the front end and, in addition to the large angular side air intakes, clearly symbolises the compact model’s sporty character. The striking front spoiler connects the two intakes and makes the A3 appear lower. The same is true of the rear, which sports a new bumper and distinctive diffuser. Partly inspired by the RS models, the progressive design elements are particularly effective when combined with the S line exterior. There are two new, expressive metallic finishes of District Green and Progressive Red to emphasise the dynamic look. The new Audi inculpates identity badging as seen on the Q8 e-tron, Q8 PI and Q7 PI, is now also featured on the A3 with the two-dimensional Audi rings as well as the new model badging on the B-Pillars.

Up to four selectable daytime running light signatures
For the first time on the A3, it is now possible to select and switch between different digital daytime running light signatures via the MMI. Up to two designs can be selected with LED headlights and up to four with Matrix LED headlights. This enables customers to change the appearance of their model anytime. The LED and Matrix LED headlights create the digital daytime running lights using 24-pixel elements in three rows on the upper edge of the housing. With their wedge-shaped, flat form and wide light graphics, the headlights emphasise the sporty character of the A3 models.

Significantly sharpened interior
Just like the exterior, the new A3’s driver-centric interior has also been significantly sharpened, creating a more technical and sophisticated look. The centre console has been redesigned and given a new finish. Innovations include a new gear shifter design, revised air vents, new decorative fabric inlays and new interior lighting.  The new blade design, finished in chrome on the outer surface, makes the air vents appear thinner, emphasising the width of the cockpit. The inside door handles feature a new effect finish as well. In addition to convenient cup holders, the centre console comes with an armrest that adjusts in length and angle. The compact shifter, which provides convenient control over the functions of the S tronic, features an all-new look. Thanks to its flatter design, it blends seamlessly into the centre console. The standard interior lighting adds accents to the doors and footwell. Additional lighting elements and contour lighting on the switch panel and door sills are also available. With the model upgrade for the A3, contour lighting runs around the centre console, and the cup holders are illuminated. Five segments are illuminated by a light source in the door panel. Their different sizes create a dynamic flow of light, which is also displayed when locking and unlocking the vehicle. Coloured ambient lighting is available from the S line trim. The 30 different light colours are selectable via the MMI, allowing for a high degree of customisation.

More technology
Technology is at the heart of the new A3 with more tech features now as standard. These include:
•    A 10.1-inch high-resolution touchscreen colour display with MMI navigation Plus
•    Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, which has a bigger 12.3-inch instrument cluster and enables three individual display options ‘Dynamic’, ‘Sport’ and ‘S Performance’ (new)
•    Audi App Store and Smartphone Interface (new)

•    Audi Phonebox Light with wireless charging (new)

In addition to the two USB‑C charging ports in the front centre console, two additional ports in the rear also come as standard. Additional functions on demand can be added online via the myAudi app, even after the vehicle has left the showroom. Functions that can be purchased include adaptive cruise control and high-beam assist.
